In our two Chlor-Alkali facilities, one in North America and one in South America, we use a Chlor-Alkali process involving the electrolysis of water and salt, to produce Caustic Soda (Sodium Hydroxide) and Chlorine. A portion of the chlorine is further used to produce Hydrochloric Acid.
Chemtrade’s Chlor-Alkali products contribute to high-demand industries as diverse as pulp & paper, oil & gas, soap/detergent, aluminum, agriculture, manufacturing, water purification and more. We work closely with our customers in long-term partnerships to ensure a reliable and uninterrupted flow of important chemicals to them.
