Chemtrade’s Acid & Sulphur Products segment is among North America’s largest suppliers of industrial sulphuric acid, including Regen Acid recovered through regeneration service agreements with the petroleum industry. Chemtrade is also the leading North American producer of UltraPure Sulphuric Acid — a critical process chemical for the electronics and semiconductor manufacturing industries, sectors that continue to drive significant global capital investment.
The ASP segment operates an extensive manufacturing, regeneration, and marketing network, supplying essential sulphur-based products to a broad range of industrial customers across North America. The segment also includes Sodium Nitrite, which is used in a wide range of industrial processes and food preservation. Chemtrade is the only North American manufacturer of sodium nitrite as a primary product.

UltraPure Acid
UltraPure Acid – H2SO4
Chemtrade produces specialty grades of high purity Sulphuric Acid with extremely low contaminant levels – in some cases measured in parts per trillion. This product is specially produced and handled for use in the manufacture of electronic semiconductors and for reagent grade applications.
Chemtrade operates and maintains specialized manufacturing and analytical testing equipment to meet the high-quality requirements of the UltraPure Sulphuric Acid product.
