Corporate Sponsorship/Donation Application Form & Guidelines for Completion

Chemtrade is all about good chemistry - in our products, and in our relationships in the communities in which we live and work.

We support the communities in which we live and work and we are committed to adding value in a way that is meaningful to each of the unique and diverse communities and regions. Through our sponsorship program, we provide community sponsorship, donations, and in-kind support to support local projects, programs, or initiatives. We prioritize support for events and programs that align with Chemtrade’s values, vision, and goals, or that our employees support through active participation or volunteerism.

We also look for partnership opportunities to work with local organizations who share our values to support locally driven initiatives with priority given to youth programs which focus on STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) education support. Employee resources and expertise are also available to provide support and guidance for community-based initiatives where our employees can help provide information or skills that will add value.

How to apply:

Through our sponsorship program, we are able to provide in-kind, resources donation or lending, or monetary support. In your application, please make sure you clearly identify:

  1. The type of support you are requesting (resources, in-kind, monetary).
  2. Details about the program, event, or initiative for which you are requesting support.
  3. How your initiative/event/program aligns with one or more of Chemtrade’s values or sustainability goals. Both are available on the Chemtrade website at chemtradelogistics.com.
  4. If applicable, the date, time, and location of the event, and the date the support is required.
  5. If there is the opportunity for Chemtrade employees or representatives to participate in the event or initiative.
  6. How Chemtrade will be recognized for its support.

While we are eager to support communities, the following types of funding requests are ineligible for support through the Chemtrade Sponsorship and Donation Program:

  • Political campaigns or fundraisers
  • Religious organizations or programing
  • Organizations focused on the advocacy of a particular social, religious, moral, political, or economic point-of-view
  • Private schools
  • Professional sports teams
  • Service clubs and fraternal organizations
  • Professional solicitors or third-party fundraising
  • Private clubs funded through membership fees
  • Individuals or individual pursuits
  • Debt-reduction or debt-reduction campaigns
  • Expenses which occurred prior to the application date, or are part of debt repayment
  • Advertising costs
  • Fundraisers
  • Organizations or non-profits without operations near a Chemtrade facility
  • Administrative and operating costs including salaries or wages
  • Travel costs including transportation, meals, and lodging
  • Scholarships, bursaries, and endowments

It is important to note that the application process can take up to eight (8) weeks to allow for review, and if approved, processing and payment. Please ensure you build this timeframe into your planning. If your group or organization is requesting monetary support, you will be required to submit banking information for your organization, since all donation payments are made using electronic fund transfers (EFTs). We do not issue cheques.
