CHEMTRADE APPOINTS ROHIT BHARDWAJ CO-CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER IN READINESS FOR RETIREMENT OF CURRENT CFO, VICTOR WELLS, IN MARCH 2006

TORONTO, January 10, 2006 - Chemtrade Logistics Income Fund (TSX: CHE.UN) announced today that Rohit Bhardwaj has been appointed Co-Chief Financial Officer of Chemtrade, effective January 23, 2006. Mr. Bhardwaj will serve jointly with current CFO, Victor Wells, who will retire as CFO on March 31, 2006.

Mr. Bhardwaj was previously Chief Financial Officer, Corporate Secretary and Executive Vice President, Operations of TSX-listed Inscape Corporation, a leading manufacturer and designer of office furniture.  Mr. Bhardwaj joined Inscape in 1994 as Controller and held progressively senior and broader positions including VP, Finance and Executive VP, Finance & Operations.

Chemtrade President and Chief Executive Officer, Mark Davis, said, “Vic Wells has made an outstanding contribution to Chemtrade’s growth since our IPO in 2001.  He has been with us from the start, and guided us through several large acquisitions and related financings that significantly increased the size and scope of Chemtrade’s operations.  His contributions to the Chemtrade team will be sorely missed.  However, I am very pleased that we have found someone of Rohit’s broad experience to replace Vic and that we will have a couple of months for Vic and Rohit to work together and ensure there’s a smooth transition.
